सीता राम
sītā rāma
Śrī Rāma was a great king during the Treta Yuga, and Sītā was His queen. They were both Divine Incarnations, come to Earth to restore Dharma and to give all the world an example of right living in every situation. Lord Rāma followed His Dharma to perfection in every way, and the stories of His exploits provide guidance to millions around the world even to this day.
He was the perfect man, the perfect son, the perfect husband, the perfect father, the perfect king, the perfect devotee. Every action he performed is a shining example of how we all should live our lives. The same is true of Sītā. She was the perfect woman, the perfect daughter, the perfect wife, the perfect mother, and a perfect devotee.
We chant the names of Sītā and Rāma to awaken the Divine perfection that They embodied. Hearing the stories of Lord Rāma and Sītā Devī, and chanting Their Holy Names is a sure path to awakening that Divinity within ourselves.
Jaya Sītā Devī! Jaya Rāmacandra! Jaya Sītā Rāma!
